About Andy Robbins
I’m Andy Robbins, a Colorado-based photographer focused on portrait, commercial, and fine art photography.
I have aphantasia—a condition where I don’t see images in my mind. I don’t picture faces, places, or memories the way most people do. Because of that, photography isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s how I hold onto things that would otherwise fade.
For me, photography is memory made visible.
That shapes how I approach everything I shoot.
I’m not chasing perfection. I’m paying attention to what’s actually there—light, texture, expression, and the small details that make something feel real. The image should feel right when you look at it, not forced or overworked.
Whether it’s a person, a space, or a piece of fine art, the goal stays the same. Keep it natural. Keep it honest. Do it right.
Living in Colorado shapes that. The light changes fast, the landscapes are raw, and there’s a lot of beauty in things that aren’t polished. That’s the kind of work I’m drawn to.
That’s what Andy Robbins Photo Art is built on. Not overproduced. Not contrived. Just thoughtful, intentional photography that actually holds onto something.
That’s what this is for—holding onto what would otherwise fade.
